1-3. Trust me, you won't regreat it!
It all began with my friend BladeOrigins(Gino). On a sunny weekend day, we first crossed paths against each other in the midlane of League of Legend's 'Summoner's Rift'(I won sry Gino). Upon finishing the game, he linked his stream. Impressed with his gameplay I had to check it out. Little did I know, queuing up for that game would spark one of the best online friendships I will ever have. Yeah, yeah, yeah, sooooooo what does this mean for One Piece? See when I met Gino, I was truly introduced to the world of One Piece and he instantly became the biggest fan I knew. Even on his stream you could sub to become part of "The Strawhats". He would frequently talk to me about how One Piece was the best story ever and changed his life. However, I listened, but pushed it off because I was so intimidated by the hundreds of chapters/episodes. (Biggest regret ever). After 6 years of being friends with Gino, I finally caved when the One Piece live action was released. I was extremely inspired by the live action actor for Luffy 'Iñaki Godoy'. I thought "If this is the kind of guy they casted as Luffy, I wonder what the "real" Luffy is like." So then I watched the first episode, then the second, then the third, next thing I knew I finished every episode of the live action. Thats when I knew I wanted to know more. I was hooked! I instantly started with Episode 1 of the Anime upon finishing the live action. Then I fully realized what One Piece is. It is not only a story, but a guide to life. With each Saga, each story, each issue; Eiichiro Oda teaches valuable lessons that can translate to real life. I truly believe that if we all viewed life through the eyes of Monkey D. Luffy, the entire world would be a better place. We would appreciate people, events, and life all around more. Even if it's just a little bit more. Maybe, just maybe, thats the push some of us need to achieve wake up with a smile and truly work to achieve our goals no matter the scale. To this day, I am still creeping through the animation and have not finished. I also recently started reading the manga as I collect all of the omnibuses. I always wanted to watch it before I read it. At the time of writing this, I am only around episode 350 in Thriller's Bark. By this point I know I could be done but I pace myself becase I want to absorb and appreciate every minor detail of the story. Annnnnnnnnnnnnd I also don't want to lose the ability to say "I still have hundreds of episodes to watch! I can watch until my eyes are bloodshot!"
